A coding community rooted in the UNESCO World Heritage High Coast of Sweden
High Coast Coding is a welcoming community of developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts living in or inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the Swedish High Coast — a UNESCO World Heritage Site shaped by thousands of years of post-glacial land uplift.
We believe great software is built the same way the High Coast was formed: slowly, with patience, curiosity, and a healthy respect for the forces at work around us. Whether you're a seasoned professional or writing your very first "Hello, World!", there's a seat at the campfire for you.
Meet the community
We celebrate our northern Swedish home. Meetups happen in person — by the coast, in the forest, or at a cosy venue in the area.
From web to embedded, from Python to Rust — all stacks, all skill levels. We learn from each other.
Nothing sparks ideas like a good conversation around a fire. We mix code talks with real human connection.
Hackathons, side-project showcases, and collaborative open-source work — we ship things as a community.
